Urgent Call Outs

If you’ve had an unexpected break-down and the pressure is on to get your site back-up and running – call Australis Servicing on 02 9707 5857 to ask if we can provide an urgent call out for a tradesperson or engineer to attend site (**Subject to project availability**).

We offer same day or next day call out services to provide urgent repairs to your machinery; call out fees apply and in general, we will require a credit card pre-payment to attend site for all same day or next day call-outs. Ask for our price schedule when making your enquiry.

While we have very broad experience in most general manufacturing and warehousing equipment, we offer specialist services for:

  • all types of conveyors
  • bucket elevators
  • palletisers and depalletisers
  • robotics, including programming faults
  • pallet handling equipment
  • carton erectors, tapers, bag-in-box machines and similar
  • fillers, depositers, re-torts
  • labellers and scanners
  • electrical systems
  • automation systems

What happens during a Call-Out?

Generally we will send out a Service Tradesperson who will assess the problem and suggest the options to undertake the repair. Most of our service people have a Mechanical trades background and will be able to assess where the fault/ issue lies.

The objective of an unplanned Call-Out is getting your site back up and running as quickly as possible. In some cases the repairs completed during the call-out may be temporary in nature in order to get you up and running. This may mean that additional work is required post the call-out to implement a more permanent repair or replacement and protect against further break-downs. In these cases our staff will advise of the temporary nature of the repair and recommend a follow-up appointment to ensure the risk of further break-downs is minimised.

Of course wherever possible we will implement a permanent repair in the first instance. On rare occasions we may be unable to undertake any repair at the initial call-out. This is often due to damage that simply cannot be fixed quickly or the need for specialised spare parts. We will advise you every step along the way and suggest options to complete the repair or replacement.
